VREC provides independent verification receipts for selected evidence events.
VREC is maintained as an independent initiative with its own technical scope. It is not part of every OCO Ingenieria engagement. OCO may use VREC as an underlying verification component when an additional evidence-integrity record is required.
Purpose
VREC records a minimum receipt or hash that can be used to verify that selected evidence existed in a defined state at a recorded time.
Technical scope
The initiative covers receipt issuance, timestamp references, verification paths, lifecycle status, and revocation or correction records.
Data boundary
Personal, financial, health, commercial, and other sensitive source records remain in the authorized source system. VREC receives only the minimum verification record required for the defined purpose.
Authority boundary
A VREC receipt confirms evidence integrity within its stated scope. It is not an official approval, professional conclusion, inspection, certification, or regulatory decision.
OCO validations are not official approvals. The competent authority or legally authorized professional remains the authoritative source.
